Do the Avs now have the three worst first overalls?

The premise of this thread was pretty stupid the when it was first posted. But is your bump really any better?

Who has Mac really passed out of the list of players drafted 1st that he wasn’t already ahead of?
He is having a fantastic season but most of the players drafted first have already had multiple fantastic seasons. Before the season I would have had him ahead of Johnson, RNH, Yakapov and Ekblad our of the guys drafted 1st in the last 15 or so years.
Now I’d still have him in about the same spot. The only other guys you could really argue he has passed are Matthews and Hischier and it’s too early to really know where they belong on the list yet.

If he continues to play at this level it will turn into an interesting argument as to where he belongs on this list compared to the rest of the players on it.

I would say he passed mathews, and pretty much right there with hall and tavares.

Love how many people in here saying Mackinnon is clearly better than RNH yet not one has brought any stats or facts to back it up. Lots of people with RNH stats showing they are pretty much identical offensively. Maybe the issue is the Mackinnon fans can't actually find anything that proves their subjective opinions?

can't believe how overrated MacKinnon is...dude is now a 50-60 point player and you'd think he's a #1 center lol
