I don't know if anyone besides board trolls will read this from here, but I couldn't find a better area to ask.
Pretty much every time when I read this board and leave a tab open, when I come back to it I see the Firefox's "Gah. Your tab just crashed" announcement. Also, the ads make the site operate really slow (I think it's them).
Are others experiencing this, and have you found a solution?
If you are, is this crashing related to the ads on site? If I've understood correctly, if I become a sponsor (which costs something like 15 bucks a year, amirite?), I can get rid of the ads. While removing the ads is tempting on its own, if I could get rid of this crashing problem at the same time, I think this would be a "shut up and take my money" situation.
