As soon as Matheson recieved the puck, I said to the people watching the game with me: "I hate playing Matheson in overtime." Barely had time to say the words before he skated in behind the net, dogpiled by three Bruins, and turned it over.

He just rushes the puck in an individual play and loses it. It's like Gomez.

For a Bruins/Hab game it was a bit of a snoozer, but the habs to their credit battled pretty well after an awful start.

Armia was the best player on the ice tonight.

Yeah Matheson's not a smart player, but I don't see why Caufield thought it would be a good idea to pinch there. That caused the 2 on 1.

If that's your definition of what Matheson does, off the top of my head:

Matheson isn't unique, although his circumstances may be. He's not a top pair guy, but considering the quality of Montreal's roster singling out Matheson in the entire NHL seems distinctly unfair.
