Although as a Canadian I’m pleased to see Zellweger on the list & was impressed by Andrae, I think Hughes deserves an honourable mention. He doesn’t get injured & the U.S. is in the Gold Medal Game, imho

Also, as the Ducks Board has mentioned, it’s possible they have 3 MVP’s in a row if Zellweger has an even better performance next Tournament

I guess it is good to spread the awards around to many different players and teams especially with the youth but it does seem like with how dominant Canada was this tournament they should have probably had more representation.

I'd put some "Stank" on it but I'm biased.

Media all star team is what I had except Garand instead of Wallstadt but I was a coin flip on goalie and only leaned Garand because Canada won.

Thought McTavish and Zellweger were clear best forward and D so the Directorate confused me with Puutio but they often have questionable decisions.

Puutio was a bit of a surprise for me and I probably would have had Stankoven instead of Mysak, but otherwise fine.

Thrilled for Mysak.. not often does a Czech make it (last one was Zadina) and I'm sure most would've thought Jiricek (before the tourney). Keep grinding Jan... see you in Montreal in 2 or 3 seasons!
