For the love of god please win! For a guaranteed better GDT on Sunday! The GDT of the year! But we have to win tonight or we won’t get it!

I’m tired, cranky, have a headache and have writer’s block, outside of the idea I’m sitting on. I’ve already scrapped four ideas for this thread. Very frustrated with it.

A win tonight is also a win for the next GDT!

I don’t feel terrible, but I was lacking motivation for a well-thought out GDT.

If we weren’t playing the Ducks the next day I could have done that concept for tonight, but it fits better with the Ducks.

I also tried to take it easy on the innocent lurking bystander CBJ fans haha.

The Jackets have some significant injuries. I’ll be disappointed if NJ doesn’t show up and play with obvious effort after what was a hard fought victory last game. They had enough days off to recharge their emotional batteries.

I found out last year while watching a Blue Jackets game on the feed for whatever team they were playing that the cannon fire you hear isn’t even from the actual cannon, and that it’s a sound clip that’s played.

The cannon does actually go off, but it’s not what’s making the actual noise.

It’s pretty hilarious that when they’re showing the cannon go off, which they do on every single goal on the Blue Jackets feed, a guy standing closest to it or even an usher will jump when the cannon is shown going off. That appears to be part of the mirage of the cannon. I’m not sure if the cannon sounds louder the closer you get to it than it does on the other side of the building, but apparently it isn’t the actual cannon making the noise.

Which I think is super lame, that it isn’t even the cannon making all that noise. But some sound clip.

They have one of the worst goal songs in the league. I’m talking about what comes after for those about to rock.

They’ve had that song for at least 10 years now.

It’s almost like some teams just want a “woah oh oh woah” song. There’s quite a few.

The Blues are another one. Their song is also trash.
