"Game management" and terrible officiating is a big reason why I don't watch many NHL games outside of the Devils anymore. It has absolutely poisoned the sport and it makes for a terrible product. It's easy to say "it is what it is", but it's embarrassing that a league thinks it's a high end respectable product with this garbage as the norm.

That would be nice. Hughes might get there eventually when he gets stronger. Has a pretty hard and accurate shot now for being pretty slight.

I dont mind Subban's game tonight. He is being aggressive shooting the puck.

Yes he has made errors which has resulted in Greene and MacBlack bailing him out. But i'll take those errors if it results in more production from Subban and/or him playing with more confidence.

He is making a lot of bad decisions he usually doesn't make.

Especially with how much he talked about it being an issue when he walked in the door here.

You can't give Shero a better grade than a C- for his time here. You really can't.

The biggest thing we can say for him (aside from winning trades, with players who are mostly either gone now or potentially being on their way out) is that he hasn't signed any BAD contracts yet.

I mean, that scrub that elbowed Boqvist in the face got nothing, but Perry gets 5 games. The NHL has always been this way. There is a huge double standard.

Are you kidding me? We're still the second to lowest scoring team in the league, if I'm not mistaken. Only Detroit is worse, I think. And we're bottom 5 since Shero took over.

And because we score 2 goals and win 2-1 or 3-2 in a shootout I'm wrong?

There's not much argument that Shero deserves better than a D+/C- grade here.

I know he has deserved his callup but he clearly isnt going to be part of the long term future of the team, whereby someone like McLeod might be.
