Haula gets to go back to playing under Bruno now as he did in his first year here.

Some might have been indifferent on him for his overall tenure here, but he helped Jack out tremendously in his first year and was a major reason we beat the Rags in 2023. One of my favorite Devils related pictures I got signed is from him celebrating with Shesterkin lying on his face from Game 5.

Always liked him, but he was beyond cooked this season and a big part of our depth issues was him playing as poorly as he did.

Haula’s still got some value on the ice, but his cap hit is too high for the role the Devils would need him to play next year if they’re gonna get any better. No idea who player is but i would have been happy with just the 4th. A+
