Place your vote and make sure to nominate the next prospect to be added. I will start with the top 10 prospects IMO in the poll.

Here is the list of the organization's prospects that fit HF's criteria.
Riley Boychuk
Anthony Brodeur
Curtis Gedig
Mike Hoeffel
Dan Kelly
Derek Rodwell
Mike Sislo
Ben Thomson
Miles Wood
Harry Young

so Pietila, Bell, Kujo, Kinkaid, Helgeson, Black etc etc have no shot at making New Jersey/Albany rosters?

I would guess maybe one of them will ever be a member of the Devils. Still should rank them though, you never know. Look at Fayne, people come out of nowhere.

top 7 are pretty much guaranteed to be nhlers in some capacity, all the rest are pretty much boom or bust or just really mediocre prospects. boucher is probably boom or bust too, but it seems like a lot of people that have seen him play are saying boom is more likely than bust.

that was my point. Devils86's suggestion that anyone below 10th doesnt matter is a bit silly, since alot of them will be on one of our pro teams

By far the highest ceiling after anyone listed in the top 5/6, in my opinion. Could be a legit top 6 winger in the NHL. Why is Graham Black any more valuable as a prospect right now?

This. A full season of Gavrus, instead of shuffling between Belarus and Juniors will show the skills this kid has. I think he's this season's breakout candidate.

Of course, if he plays really well in the KHL we might never see him again. Still really glad to see he was at rookie camp though.

Gavrus seems to have a lot of different height and weight listing...hockeydb has him at 5'11 178, this site has him at 5'10 168, newjerseydevils.com has him at 5'10 175, elite prospects has him at 5'11 176.

Could depend on when the measurables were taken. He's still a young kid, so there's projection for height and weight growth.

I'd say go with the 5'11", 178 lbs numbers; that's how he was listed on Owen Sound's website in the playoffs last season so it's probably the most up to date number.

We'll, I say that because 5'10-168 is a heck of a lot different than 5'11-178. 5'11-178 is more in the range were size isn't an issue IMO.

He's never signed a NHL contract. I'm pretty sure he's technically not even our property anymore.

I didnt know he wasnt under contract anymore, but you're right, the Albany thing was last year only. He's still oddly listed on both the NJ Devils and the Albany Devils websites though. I dont get why they wouldnt resign him, he had a pretty good first pro year on a crappy team. At least as good as Urbom anyway. And we all know how much Lou loves NCAA guys. lol
