Started off sloppy again for the second night in a row, this team doesn't roll over though which is refreshing.

AM34 is playing on a different level, really good in his own end and in the middle of the ice, and lighting the lamp while doing so.

Ugly win, nice to have the firepower tho first line has been great.

Soup is clearly off right now, they gotta do whatever is necessary to get him back on his game; maybe a blessing in disguise for Mrazek & Soup's contract.

Mzarek was great tonight. Good to see. Who do they go to tomorrow? I'd go back to him and give Campbell a break.

They look dominant because the Leafs have this annoying tendency to play down to their opponents and thus frequently look bad against teams they shouldn't?

Yes I’d say so. But that’s the sign of a young team with growing pains. Shouldn’t be what this squad is continuing to do

These last two games we have been plain bad. First time since way at the start of the year where we've been legit outplayed multiple games in a row.

Interesting thought because I’m thinking Pittsburgh and San Jose, I think Carolina after that? That feels like a helluva long time ago If we’re talking about the same games then that’s not bad for half a season.

It certainly won't work in the playoffs when you can cross check everyone in front of the net. We've seen that enough with the Habs last years and the Bruins before that getting away with absolute murder.

And it'll be allowed this playoffs as well. How do we deal with that? Amd how do we counter that?

That was a rookie Devils' defenseman handling that shorthand 2 on 1, right? No, he's a supposedly highly sought after RHD defenseman. Yeah, no thanks.

Entertaining game and good comeback win.

I'll say it again - put Matthews and Marner together and magic happens.

I like how we're keeping the foot on the pedal, even when we tie it up. Good killer instinct.

Also that defense by Severson on the GWG was so amazingly bad. Like wow.

What's the moral of this game?..... If you ever have a 2-1 lead score on yourself.

We can give that Islanders 3-1 win an exception because they probably only score 3 goals a week.
