Devils should be salivating after putting 5 on Shesterkin sending him to the pine for the 3rd period. That may help Matthews Hart chances, if you care about things like that.

Thank goodness they're coming into SBA off a back-to-back against one of their rivals.

Not sure who is starting for Leafs but whomever it is, has to be on the shortest of leashes even though the alternative isn't really any better.

Good possibility for sure, I'm also thinking about the weekend

Montreal on the road Sat. and back home for the Panthers Sun.

Leafs have a real conundrum on their hands if Mrazek blows a tire to the Devils, sticky situation for sure

Mrazek for NJ/Montreal and Kallgren gets Fla?

Kallgren NJ/Fla and Mrazek gets Montreal on the road?

I really don't want to see him go up against Fla for his 1st start back and in front of the home crowd
 
They need to give Kallgren as many games as possible to see how he plays before Campbell comes back. I don't understand the argument for Mrazek to start, other than he's making 3.8M for the next 2 seasons, so we are forced to play him.

Agreed, I hated Balckwell when we played Seattle because he out hustled us out there and scored a nice goal and another nice assist. Wouldn't mind him up there with JT and Willy to see if he could give them that gritty game

I think you going to see Kallgren in again. When Keefe says "get to work" it means practice time.

You don't gotta be the amazing Kreskin to know the leafs are gonna get outworked, let's just hope they can out-skill the Devils and make that Severson guy look bad again

Those number are either incorrect, or they're meaningless. I mean come on now, we all know that Holl sucks. He's the worst Dman the Leafs have had since Marincin, if not Ceci, if not Phaneuf, if not Murphy ... ;)

Mrazek is a proven NHL goalie who's going through what is probably the worst slump of his career. If we should never start him again the you could say the same about Campbell and handing the net over to the new guy doesn't really make sense. Mrazek will likely get another shot at some point, maybe it'll be tonight and maybe it won't, we'll see.

Mrazek is a proven NHL goalie who's going through what is probably the worst slump of his career. If we should never start him again the you could say the same about Campbell and handing the net over to the new guy doesn't really make sense. Mrazek will likely get another shot at some point, maybe it'll be tonight and maybe it won't, we'll see.

Unless Soup is ready by the weekend, Mrazek is starting one of the B2B games this weekend. Hopefully Saturday @ Montreal because if the Panthers were to light him up at home on Sunday, the fans will let Dubas/Shanny hear it.

If he plays this weekend then yes, road game seems like a good idea. I wouldn't rule out him playing tonight though.

Agreed. My preference is:

Tonight: Kallgren
Saturday: Mrazek
Sunday: Kallgren unless Campbell is ready

The guys on Kipper and Bourne made sense on their show yesterday (probably not a common happening lol)... why would you want to even open up the chance for Petr to give up a softie in the game tonight and get the crowd on him. He's a big boy and his 'confidence' should not be impacted by not starting until Saturday night. Kallgren on the other hand, won 2 lost 1... and then what? We yank him? I'd rather put him back in to see how he reacts after a loss.
