Sadly I completely agree. Replacing Kase for Simmonds was a huge upgrade. can only hope that Knies is ready. Robertson and Blackwell would also be energy players on that line.

Giordano and Brodie will both be playing on the left side and essentially *can't* be paired together until one of Muzzin or Sandin returns.

If you pair Giordano-Brodie and Rielly-Lyubushkin...that leaves you with Holl-Liljegren...two right shots that have never played their off side. Give Rielly one of Holl or Liljegren instead...you have the same problem. Lyubushkin,Holl, Liljegren all righty D that haven't/don't play the left side....lol

I agree with this. I think Mrazek is going to get one final kick at the fan here before Campbell returns. Mrazek slips up again and it'll be Campbell/Kallgren moving forward id think

Love the tests on our schedule coming up. Classic Saturday night hockey Leafs vs Habs that should have the rivalry feel to it. Massive test against Florida on the Sunday. Get right back up for another big test against the Big Bad Bruins on Tuesday, and then the always physical battle against the Jets on Thursday. Not even to mention the fact the following week after that we go back to back games against the Lightning and then Panthers again. Hard schedule coming up. Gonna have to show we can hang in the high intensity games

This makes sense too if Kallgren-Mrazek is the goalie combo that the team has to work with for the back-to-back.
