Not buying into the Greek Lightning hype train just yet, until he proves his offense can translate to the pros (I have my doubts) I can't bring myself to put him above Janmark. Add McNulty

Also fun fact 9 out of top 10 prospects are in North America and of those 9 Mantha is the only one not in the AHL. Even factoring in busts there won't be room for everybody with the big club (with Goose and Tats already up and the younger D) and people are going to have to be moved pretty soon, either by trade or waivers.

Every time we do this our pool seems deeper to me

Not that all of them will hit their "ceiling," but it just seems a lot of them have either enough skill or enough athleticism to be NHLers. Guys like Almqvist, Ferraro, Callahan, Athanasiou might never be more than 4th liners/ 3rd pairing kinda guys, but they each have skill sets that could carve out niche careers. Maybe not for us, even. But somewhere. I just like the pool more and more.

I never realized until doing these polls that Ouellet was actually born in France.

I wonder if he'll represent them internationally at some point.

Really? Feel like that was pretty well publicized and discussed on here when he was drafted.

Probably was, I either didn't read it or just skipped it somehow.

French name playing in the Q I just assumed he was another French Canadian.

Tough choice between AA and Janmark. Went with Janmark as he's putting up good numbers in a tougher league. And seems to be carrying his team to a degree which is impressive.

Add McNulty, I guess.

AA

again big, skilled, fast centremen now scoring at will in the CHL

he looks like he could be a helm but with size and more scoring punch and if helm is easily among the best 3rd line centres in the league that bodes well for the greek lightening

he may never "get it" at the pro level but the potential is huge

Yeah true, good point. I believe he has duel citizenship, but he represented Canada in the WJC, so if he had the choice I think he would want to represent Canada.

He has some experience at center, but based on input from Barrie fans, seems like he plays better and projects better as a winger.

I know some people feel that way for Janmark too, but just pointing it out.

I really want more centers in our prospect pool :/

Voted Backman, seems like he can handle being the 'guy' on a bad team and is performing admirably. It really is kinda close for me, both guys don't factor to be Centers in the NHL but have been playing very well as of late. With Athanasiou, I just want to wait until his game translates to a pro-league, though he has been doing more with less this year than Frk was doing with Drouin and Mack last year, but overall two very intriguing players.

Add McNulty, he has been playing well as of late and should be ahead of Bertuzzi, who has had a bit of an injury problem recently.

Lando needs more support.

Poor Lando, should have played better out of the gate.
