Shanahan - Yzerman - Howe
Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Hull
Kozlov - Larionov - Fedorov
Probert - Draper - Holmstrom

Lidstrom - Chelios
Coffey - Murphy
Kronwall - Konstantinov

Hasek
Osgood

Wings must have one of the strongest all-time team. Surely, this team would dominate in todays NHL?

Lindsay - Yzerman - Howe
Delvecchio - Ullman - Fedorov
Abel - Datsyuk - Aurie
Zetterberg - S. Howe - Redmond

Lidstrom - Kelly
Pronovost - Stewart
Konstantinov - Coffey

Sawchuk
Osgood

That's off the top of my head...RW was thin so I shifted Fedorov over, as per the OP's team.

Igor Larionov and Slava Fetisov would be there (among other HHOFers who had cups of coffee), but I'm going with Wings career only.

The only thing I would change is switch Konstantinov for Quackenbush. And if you didn't shift Fedorov to the right, the next best RW would be ... past his prime Brett Hull. The DRW have the worst RW depth of the O6 teams.

Are you choosing based solely on their careers in Detroit, or their overall body of work?

Yes, Quackenbush. Knew I was going to forget about someone.
Can I just put Gordie Howe on all 4 lines?

They do seem to have the best depth of any team ever for part-time Left Wing-Centres.

Delvecchio, Abel, Syd Howe, Zetterberg. Does any other team even have more than one that was any good?

Post WWII, time in Detroit only:

Ted Lindsay – Steve Yzerman – Gordie Howe
Alex Delvecchio – Pavel Datsyuk – Sergey Fyodorov
Henrik Zetterberg – Sid Abel – Mickey Redmond
Brendan Shanahan – Norm Ullman – Václav Nedomanský

Niklas Lidström – Red Kelly
Marcel Pronovost – Vladimir Konstantinov
Bill Quackenbush – Larry Murphy

Terry Sawchuk (Dominik Hašek)

Nedomanský might be a bit of a stretch here, but options at RW are really thin in comparison with the other positions.

Overall body of work:

Lindsay - Abel - Howe
Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Hull
Delvecchio - Yzerman - Redmond
Shanahan - Larionov - Fedorov

(Two LA boys)

Lidstrom - Chelios
Coffey - Fetisov
Pronovost - Kelly

Hasek
Sawchuk

Dat bucket tho

Boy, you could put together several teams and it'd be a tough call deciding which might win an intra-RW series. Just a stellar cast from which to choose.

The actual all-time team is much stronger.

This is pretty ridiculous considering how few games some of these guys played for the Wings, but overall body of work:

Lindsay - Yzerman - Howe
Abel - Dionne - C. Conacher
F. Mahovlich - Ullman - Bathgate
Delvecchio - Fedorov - B. Hull

Fetisov - Kelly
Lidstrom - Chelios
Park - Coffey

Hasek
Sawchuk
