Skinner played pretty well in the playoffs and got to the Conference Finals. maybe it was all luck or the team was playing well at the time but maybe Edmonton just isn't that good overall. I dont think Campbell helps at all.
might as well make a trade and take a chance on someone else or roll with Skinner and let him get back in the groove

I honestly don't get it

He was absolutely brutal for almost the entirety of his 2 years in Edmonton. Not as in a goalie who underperformed relative to his contract, but as a guy who looked like he didn't belong in the league.

Gets another contract and cant fulfill his duties on that one either.

He hasn't been good since those 20 games in 2021. What the heck has he done to deserve a third chance?
Thought I was on HFOil again. Player who was shat on for years and played horribly goes somewhere else and some Oil fans are looking to bring him back.

f***in groundhog day, man.

Heard the rumors he was on the sauce. Could see it in his interviews. No wonder he was pretty much willing to suck Holland off after the contract offer. Worst signing ever.

Skinner didn't played very well in PO. At one stage he lost net to Calvin freaking Pickard.

fair enough, few of the games I seen Skinner played pretty good. maybe I just thought he did more than he did
Nahh,

I don't think Campbell is the play, and at this stage after not playing for a while, I doubt there a comeback story in the oven.

But Skinner never been even average in playoff. and while you can certainly still find some Oilers fans that are high on him, the number is thinning by the minutes.

Oilers management need a slap across the face when it comes to goalie scouting, drafting, contract and development.
