I'm not going to beat this horse too much because the team sucks, but I really wish Malkin would be showing like any effort defensively. Bad turnover and a lack of backchecking on goal 1 and no effort defensively on the OT winner by Detroit.

It is what it is, though. Malkin is so far down the list of issues with this team that it's really hard to get huffy about it.
