This is absolutely awesome Shiner has been the hardest working guy on the Griffins night in and night out for almost a decade. In the midst of a career year he’s absolutely earned this. Congratulations Dominik!

Yeah, I assume he’s back as soon as someone gets healthy. Still awesome for him to secure a couple years at 800k even if he’s riding buses for most of it

This is great. I have never seen him play but I know he has been a trooper and loyal for many years down in Grand Rapids and has worked his tail off. Tip of the hat for earning a contract.

He’s earned his NHL deal. He likely won’t play 10 NHL games, but he’s really good with the kids down in Grand Rapids, he’s a local player and they are only guaranteeing him $85k. They also have 4 AHL 2-way contracts expiring, and have a couple extra contracts this and next year anyway.

We’ll earned.
