Rough timing for him as Sandin's injury would have appeared to open up a full time slot on the blueline for a spell.

this is why you dont trade away d depth like a bunch of morons.

imagine when injuries happen during the playoffs and you decided that d depth is a problem.

The good news resulting from the defenseman injury bug is we got a sneak peek at Rubins and he seems NHL comfortable and put a bunch of pucks on net.

I don’t think they were doing it just because we have too much depth.
If we ever get everyone back to health we have to lose someone off the roster for cap reasons.
The team needs to know what people would offer for the 7th D or 13th forward because we can’t keep both of them.
Even if we are just moving them to bring in a cheaper version of them.

Have to admit he took me a bit by surprise. Was paying zero attention to him as I was unaware he was close to the next man up top of the line.

When you ignore a big young defenseman making his debut it’s definitely a good sign.

I know some think Marner is overrated , but there is no way he is worse then Dermotts shoulder. That is taking it way to far...
