He doesn't miss the net that's true, I was more saying he's not Ovechkin/Stamkos level (obviously). He's not gonna score 30 goals with his slapshot or something, but it is a weapon

Sure, he is not in that territory, but like you say he sure is a threat with it.

So happy that Brassard got point #60.

I wish he'd use his wicked slap shot more often. He uses it like once a month and he ALWAYS scores on it.

Brassgod with a hell of a season. I can't believe the huge strides as a player he has made from day 1 when he got here. Plus he always raises his game in the playoffs. Very happy to have him.

Brassard is a playoff beast. I loved that pickup. Was sad to see Gabby go, but at least we got BrassGOD back. Incredibly consistent in his production. He doesn't slow up all that much and he facilitates so much for his teammates when he's not picking up points. So much better defensively than I thought he would be, too.

We should be calling it the Brassard-trade from now on. Of the 5 players involved, only Brassard is with the team on this day.

Gaborik is with LA, Moore is with Arizona, Dorsett moved to Vancouver and Delisle is somewhere in the AHL

Brass had a great regular season, but my favorite thing about him by far is that he's totally dependable in the playoffs. He and McD (& Hank obviously if we're not talking only about skaters) are always, always, at the top of their games in the postseason. Love that.

McD was pretty bad in the playoffs to start last year but he just came back from an injury.

yeah, I hope Hags & D.Moore will follow soon - they're playoffs performers.
LGR! :handclap:

I thought D.Moore was fantastic. He drew a penalty was battling all night. He held the puck in the Pens' corner while they were trying to get their goalie pulled. Great game.

Also, Brassard thread so, Brassard is awesome.

That top shelf goal by Brassard last night, wow, a beauty! :)
I hope that the next game the whole Rangers team could help him to win games too. :o

The real clutch player on this team. In a results oriented business only him and lundqvist are blame free in my opinion.

Brassard isn't cutting it. This guy is a loser and they need to trade him. His job is to create space and assist on goals for Nash and MSL. Instead he's floating around waiting for Nash and Marty to gift wrap him tap-ins. What a joke. If it wasn't for Nash carrying this clown no one would even know he existed. He needs to step up big time and start playing like a 1c and not a winger being carried like Kunitz. I'm sure everyone will agree with me when I say scoring goals is not enough from a guy who should be geting assists and helping his linemates score. It's pretty simple and disagreeing would speak volumes of the intelligence of such a disagreement.

I would add Hags. Hags seems to come through in the clutch. He has chipped in as much as anyone in the post season

****in lol. What a post.

Yeah, it sounds bad doesn't it? That's how all the Henrik and Nash posts read to me. I am trying to give some perspective here.

It really does. I think its absolutely frustrating Nash hasn't scored. But he's got the most points kn the team and has been the best player on the ice this whole series for us. To put the blame solely on him for not doing his job is ridiculous. I understand why people feel that way but I don't agree.

Dear ****ing god :laugh::laugh::laugh:

One assist in 9 games. Looks like Zucc was the real hero of that line, carrying the creativity.

Thank You, BrassGhost.
