Toews and Weegar are neck and neck. Went Toews but either is deserving.
I like Weegar a little better but I’d give Toews the edge simply because he’s played and excelled in two systems and has done it slightly longer than Weegar. Weegar is a great defenseman though and will get much more love going forward if he can repeat or build on the season he just had.
