Vatrano - UFA LW - needs to be included for cap space
2023 3rd - can upgrade to 2nd if Panthers reach Conference final - Chicago already has three 2022 3rd round picks
Gildon - LD prospect

Not sure if this works cap wise or Florida needs Chicago to retain on De Haan

Tippett + Vatrano = Kubalik
3rd/2nd + Gildon = De Haan

If the hawks have no interest in extending Kubalik which they should in my opinion then I’m down for this trade. Hawks can retain half on de hann no issue.

He may not be the sexy name on the trade list but allows him to play on 3rd pairing with Montour.
Plays on the PK, a couple hits a game, blocks a lot of shots and rarely takes penalties.
Played for Islanders in a strong defensive system, he won't go up against top lines and get exposed a lot.
