*2019 draft.

Pretty great list, though. What’s pushed Barlage back into the first round for you? I was very high on the kid a couple years ago, and he’s been pretty good this season, but I haven’t seen any other list gutsy enough to have him higher than the late second.

Fixed.

I really like how his game has developed in Lethbridge. Hes doing a lot with limited minutes. If he was up in Lethbridges top 6 getting more ice time I think hed be doing more damage. I feel like he may be one of those slow burn types that may need some time to develop but has sneaky top 6 potential. Likely a 2nd rounder but I see something in his game that screams hes really going to break out next year. I could see him and Cozens running a very strong line next year.

Logan shoots right not left

I'm biased towards Logan but think he should go from the mid 2nd to late 3rd at this point. He's 15th on my WHL list which says a lot about how insanely deep the class out west is

Yeah he does I never noticed that EP has him as a left hand shot which is where I typically get my height/weight/shot info from.

I think he has massive potential that is just starting to unlock. On average he gets 11 minutes of ice time per night. And scores goals at a higher per 60 clip than both Dach and Krebs. In fact he scores at a higher per 60 pace than any 2019 draft eligible in the WHL. He's getting a lot better at supporting his team mates and is typically being used in late game situations a lot more. He needs some serious work on faceoff but he's improving. I think we will see him really step into it soon and start producing. On any other team that he gets 18-20 minutes a night like Dach, Cozens and Krebs he is probably scoring at a higher pace. He's just not the go to guy on his team because there is so much talent.

No Broberg?

Hes 59 on my top 62. Love the speed but I feel his brain cant keep up with it. Showcased it well at the Hlinka but he also had a tonne of botched plays. Wasn't a huge fan of the rest of his game either. Really questionable hockey IQ IMO.

Podkolzin at 8th spot?? Im not convinced that Dach goes that high. Kid has excellent size but not sure hes that good a skate
I think Lavoie goes higher and why has Newhook degraded so Much? Really dont know much about him.but he was at 2nd overall .not all that long agp

Newhook is playing in the BCHL, which is lower tier and provides less competition and Newhook hasn't been dominating like he was anticipated to do. Also I think you're underrating Dach's skating. It does look a bit awkward because of his size, but it's still one of the better skaters in the draft and as he adjusts to his height, it'll look smooth and effortless.

I've never been a massive Broberg fan myself. I find him very overrated.

What's the expectation? He's getting 1.5 points/game. Many high danger opportunities every game regardless of being targeted by opposition.

I think this comes down to the BCHL being perceived as a very substandard league vs. WHL.

Not just points wise, but on all ends of the game
