He's good! and he will surely become VERY good ..but ..the only worry from now on for me is the durability.
I'm predicting he gets called up very soon
Defensively I see it. He has incredible gap control, covers a lot ice with a huge reach. I personally see more offence than Phillips though. Overall package I see pietrangelo lightMmmmm nope. Saw him play tonight. This kid will be a stalwart for Mtl for the next 10 years.
I see a Chris Phillips for us. Something we lack right now.
My expectations were low but I just watched his highlights vs Utica and wow this guy is giving Shea Weber vibes.
He looks aggressive, with his body and his stick. Very decisive, doesn't hesitate AT ALL. Moves puck up the ice & towards the net quickly. Nice shot too, he's got a cannon. Lots of f*ck you energy.
I feel so much better about this pick holy shit. I love it. This is right after a serious knee injury too with very little NA experience, incredible

wow... I did not know that Hamrlik has the first overall pick of the 1992 draft.Reinbacher will be a bit like Hamrlik's habs version.
Type of guy who will not often be on Molson's three stars but so important for the team.
I would prefer to let him develop in laval for the rest of the season. We need to bring Mailloux and see if he can play in the NHL for us. If not Mailloux could be used for a trade in the 2025 draft.Would it be a mistake if he gets called up post deadline if say Savard is traded? Should he remain in Laval no matter what?
Yep he was and at the time he was very good offensively.wow... I did not know that Hamrlik has the first overall pick of the 1992 draft.
If the Habs keep winning, best to not mess with the current lineup. At the moment, losing 2-1 in second period vs Oilers.I'm predicting he gets called up very soon
Yeah I meant Weber with his aggression mostly. Totally see the doughty comparisons for his mobilityhaven't been able to watch the games this season but in this clip he reminds me more of a Doughty-lite than Weber, just on mobility alone.
in the past i had said he reminded me of Bouwmeester but i'd love if he ends up being more physical than that.

This is what i was hoping for Dach, but it appears he didn't learn anything new. Goes to show IQ alliws players to grow and evolve.I get the feeling that with his high hockey iq, being injured and spending all this time around the big club, it helped him a lot with understanding the North American game.
Now he needs game action and competition
