After watching his 2 first games, its clear he's played in the pros. Hes calm and clearly feels comfortable with the pace of the game. Very impressive when you think he has barely played on NA sized rinks. It's no doubt he will be the first call up on D once he gets a few more games in.
Yes he is that good and should be the first call up. Hopefully Laval has an arduous and long playoff run which would salvage his season

You know, I will trust the judgement of a professional PT employed by the team on this.

The new medical staff has been pretty good since Gorton brought them in. Most players return early or on time. I'd trust them.

I'd rather trust someone who has read a couple of articles on the internet over intelligent professionals who have devoted their life to the field.

I didn't know that. Interesting. Friedman and Bukauskas also talked about injured players getting involved in scouting and coaching during an episose of 32 thoughts last year. So there are other examples in the NHL but I don't think it's necessarily common. Maybe should be though. Players can certainly learn a lot.
I think it's a great idea

If you want to play him less in terms of ice time, sure by all means go ahead and do that. But to allow him to miss the game when he already has missed 75% of the season is BS. What is this? Kindergarten?

The last thing we need is hockey to turn into the NBA.
Maybe let the medical professionals and coaches who work with him every day make that judgement? Just a thought
