0-8 when trailing going into the 3rd period this year. Team can't come back from being down. Team has trouble holding leads on the rare occasion that they get them. Even last season the team sucked at getting those precious loser points, I think they had the fewest or were tied for fewest OT games. Lead the league in minor and bench penalties. All things point to a poorly coached team.

How are these stats with Shesterkin in the net and otherwise?

Complete 180 from pre-covid.

We were in every game. I felt confident we would score or come back. We were SO DYNAMIC last year.... That MTL game will stay with me for a while

Alright, thus far you've been adrift in the safe harbor of my patience. But enough of this shit.

ADA is not in the lineup because he can't keep his f***ing mouth shut for more than a few hours at a time before stirring the f***ing pot, making comments that would get you and I FIRED if we went into our places of work, and then doing shit that he shouldn't be doing online.

You know why they made the f***ing statement?

So that dumb-shits wouldn't be asking why he isn't in the lineup every day. Because we all know that would've been the topic.

The announcement did nothing to ADA's value. You know why?

Because every team who even had a remote interest in ADA did deep dives on him and decided he was too hot to touch right now.

You know why he's too hot to touch? Because he has f***ing burner accounts, and because you have transparency on what some of his comments were from people closer to the situation. And teams don't want anything to do with that right now.

They don't even want that shit around their AHL teams.

ADA has f***ed himself over so badly at this point, with no one to blame but himself. But no one is going to talk about the findings of their investigations right now, because if they ever get desperate enough to bring him in, they'd be mutilated in the court of public opinion.

So here's the deal, as straight forward as I can give you.

The only way ADA has any future in the NHL is if he lays low, keeps his mouth shut and doesn't force an issue where info from the investigations is made public and if he shows he can move on from it.

This isn't a Rangers thing.

It isn't a Gorton thing.

It's not a cancel culture thing.

It's not a political thing.

It's a "Don't act like you have f***ing brain damage" thing and an "stop acting like a reject from a bad reality TV show" thing.

It's a "keep your f***ing mouth shut and maybe you can salvage a career" thing.

But, please, let's cut through the bullshit on this topic.

ADA's wound is self-inflicted. And from most reports, he still doesn't really get it. So there's very little motivation for teams to go out of their way give him a second chance.

Not sure what is a more ridiculous accusation thrown at Quinn for players being off the team: ADA or Andersson.

Accusations of stalling prospects development comes distant third and at least could be explained by some (often younger) folks unable to stay patient for more than 5 games sample.

At this point, the people still defending him or complaining are only doing so because they're mad their MAGA hero got shown the door.
Thought we are supposed to keep politics out of these threads, no? Plus this is a Quinn thread anyway. So happy he is still around.

The fact that the rangers have been so stale so often in the Quinn era is massive cause for concern. He is destroying the youth. He needs to be relieved of his duties.
No jam, no heart, no gameplan, no leadership

This season if nothing else should be about development arrows pointing upwards.

I’m just not seeing that in way too many instances. This team is underperforming basically across the board.

The front office can’t just let this shitshow keep rollin’ on down the line. There is just no structure on display way too often. And it is hurting the development of more than a few key young players.

Needs to go after this year. His incompetence will get us a better pick. He was changing lines 7 minutes into the game when we were getting the better of the play. He is an ass.

He's not a bad coach. He just isn't a development coach. He's a win-now coach. That's why he was successful in college with a team that recruits the best players each year.

So he was the wrong hire then.

Because this should have been a development coach. He was sold as being good with kids. That seems untrue at this point.

And that should be rectified immediately.

He is completely out of his element in the NHL. He has nothing to teach NHL players. Let him be an excellent college coach with a ready made setup in college, but he has no business being at the NHL level.

Maybe he is good with kids, but he also needs to be NHL level good with kids. And he is clearly NOT.

Edit: It's a classic trap the NYR have gotten themselves into, where the egos of the coaches and management become more important than the development of the talent in the organization.
