He has moved Kreider to the 3rd line, Buch to the 3rd line at times. Can this team afford to bench multiple veteran players? Could a different voice behind the bench change that? Maybe. Or maybe we have a bunch of lazy bums on this team. If the leadership of this team are the biggest culprits what do you turn to?

buch was on the 3rd line for half a period.

What has Quinn done that you keep defending him? He has not done a damn thing as a coach.
Interesting that my entire post disappeared.

Right now, I am defending Quinn from your view that he is ruining the development of Lafreniere and of Kakko. Once that is concluded, we can move on to other Quinn issues.

Do you think it's a coincidence that two top two picks who were consensus #1 and #2 picks in decently strong drafts are not performing? What other team other than maybe Edmonton has this happened to?

Quinn says that Kreider and zibanejad have now run out of their “veteran status”

f*** this guy.

If you are watching the games on the same planet most of us are and are seeing how Kakko is playing and then claiming that he is not performing, am not sure of what to tell you.

And, again, please tell me what top draft pick in the entire history of the NHL had to enter the league under the same circumstances that Lafreniere did?

Kakko has been our best forward outside of Panarin this season, FACT. He's also not helped us score goals, FACT. As for your second question, how about Steutzle?

He has done all but score. It is not been from not getting some great shots off. FACT

I would suggest you look at his on-ice shooting percentage

We should really close this thread. It's not productive. People seem to just have an agenda (aka vendetta) against Quinn. Let's see how the process plays out. Kreider said it himself - the start of this season has been successful in implementing the structure. As long as we continue to demonstrate that then we should be confident in the direction we're heading. We're going north guys. Some of you are in some weird magnetic vortex and need to have your compasses corrected.

Top-2 picks in consecutive drafts? Stamkos and Hedman?

This is the content I come here for.

Agenda? Get real.

If after watching the games you feel that Quinn is good enough to not be criticized, then you are choosing not to see it.

Maybe he's picking corners. I'm not saying that it's sustainable but poo pooing his start because of his high shooting percentage when he's supposed to be a good shooter is silly to me.

There’s a difference between criticizing him and blaming him for everyone while refusing to give him credit. Not everyone is doing that. But...

I was looking for pairs that didn’t come out of the gate that strong but just finding any pairs of such are difficult lol

Yeah, it's close but no cigar on a lot of them. Chicago with 19 and 88, Colorado with 92 and 29.

Looks like Florida with Barkov then Ekblad.
