I said 10 games, but time is up with Quinn. If they lose DeAngelo for nothing, and we continue seeing these uninspired efforts in the third period where they don't hold leads, he has to go.

“I just thought for the short-term we’re going to go every other [game] with these guys for a while, and see how it goes regardless of how they play and give them a little clearer picture and maybe some more comfort in what the schedule is and who’s going to play.'

can't even make that up... Only David Quinn.. that might be as clueless as it gets.

That does not sound like a winning mentality

I wanted to give him a chance and I think we've been extremely unlucky, but the way this season is going looks like a train wreck and I'm nervous about Kakko going forward. Tony's off the team, if he doesn't stop jerking guys around then he needs the axe immediately.

You must be new here...

We normally had roster short comings. We criticized our coaches but knew the bigger issue was personnel. This is a New York team. Complaining about our team comes with the territory.

BUT this is the first time I can remember a coach being that far in over his head. I don't expect to be winning Cups but I expect more than this. Some players have shown growth, others have not. We still have all the makings of a poorly coached team... Lately, his personnel decisions are mind blowing bad. He's lost control and a fresh start is needed.

We do not have leaders on this team so, we need the coach to take the reigns. David Quinn is not the answer. A change now would be preferable before it spirals into Jets territory

So now that he’s lost DeAngelo too as brooks reported his decision to press box him didn’t go over very well, exactly who has Quinn developed?

I'm not a hige Quinn fan but this seems like one of those questions where you just pick an answer that fits your narrative.
Buch is playing his best hockey under Quinn, Chytil seems to be on a good developmental curve, Fox and Miller obviously look very good early on.
Does he get credit for these or is it just 'natural progression' and 'they were developed elsewhere'?

On the other side you've got Lias and Kravtsov's issues and ADA.
Is this all on Quinn or do the players and their attitudes have some responsibility?

Kakko is in some weird limbo state and it's too early to say with Laf.
