Is he a guy Nashville would be willing to flip for more futures?
If so, what would the cost look like?

Mind if I ask what your evaluation of the player is?Preds fans seem pretty divided in him. I'd rather keep, his value is too low right now to consider flipping him for futures

Media doing media thingsNo.
As beardawg mentions there is some division on him...for whatever reason other Preds sites and the Twitterverse seem to really have something against him for reasons that are not all that apparent to the rest of us. He has been misused this year after having a very solid season next to Josi all last year. We also have very little experienced/quality depth at RHD and the other mainstay (Carrier) seems to be rather injury-prone.

He’s sign for $2.5 million next yearThe issue is…
1 he’s arbitration eligible
2 Ekholm got traded opening up
at RD thrn have him and Carrier. Foote and bartue are under contract
If I was his agent I’d go to arbitration and get $4M+He’s sign for $2.5 million next year

That still affects his value because of arbitration. Manyteams looking at him will say he’s a trial for one year. If he doesn’t prove himself, he doesn’t get QO His value is not going to be as good. Nobody is giving up much for a player like him. He’s already signed. It isn’t an RFA QO situation.
