We can Dansk if we want to, we can leave our team behind
Because if they don't sign, and then we won't mind
And he ain't no teammate of mine

Whatever...he was horrendous in NA. Passed up on depth chart by Forsberg, maybe even Elvis. Maybe he figures his game out but I'm expecting nothing from him now.

Confirmed G Oscar Dansk has signed to play in Sweden next season. 2nd-round pick (No. 31 overall) in '12 had a rough first pro season in NA.

He's probably being loaned to them like they did with Melart and Hjalmarsson. Maybe for the remainder of his contract but I'm sure CBJ still hold his rights in the event he gets it together.

How much do we want to bet that a decent veteran gets signed to play in Cleveland now. Someone who could be a reliable call up and also hold down the fort if Forsberg gets injured again.

Forsberg and Korpisalo will be the goalies in LE my guess.
I agree with you on this. It would be optimal pair of goalies for the team. But only for the first half of season, then we will see. And i hope Sweden will bring Dansk back to life, last year he was awful.

Dansk has been awful for most of the time since he was drafted. Expectations for last year should have been low.

We Have seen the last of Dansk in the jackets organization for good or ill. I'm not buying the "chance to get his game back and return to North America", line.

Still CBJ property, but I expect we won't be seeing him at the future development camps this year and next while his rights are still "owned" on this side of the pond. Great pick at the time, he may turn out to be a steller goaltender, but it will be in the SHL. The fact that Rogle announced this first before the CBJ seems like a good opportunity jarmo and co. had to slip a potential weak spot this season under the rug. With Korpisalo coming over and maybe Merzilikins in the future, this was a guy the CBJ could risk letting get away. Hard to swallow for a guy that was a second round pick, first round talent, but Colorado's second round from a few drafts ago is going back in because Colorado never signed him.

This just means that CBJ need to spend a draft pick this season on a tender, something they may want to look at doing every year or every other year anyways

I couldn't disagree with you more.

Dansk needs some stability. Playing for the same team and coach for a couple of years will really help him.

When will we learn that most goalies don't really hit their stride until relatively late. He's 21 for goodness sakes.

He's still under contract with the CBJ so technically this will be a transfer I believe. Rogle will pay his salary which takes him off the CBj payroll but CBJ retains his rights and won't need to qualify him until after his entry level deal is up. That should allow for two years of development and maybe getting his game back. He needs to get his head right. He has the skill and technique. Let's see what happens

This happened so soon, despite my feelings that we've seen the last of him for the CBJ in North America, I fully expect them to qualify him at least the next time he's up.
