Maybe he goes to Anaheim. They gotta sign someone right?
He probably be best fit in Anaheim then he won't see playoffs. He's a good regular season player but in the playoffs he just looks bad.

I posted yesterday that Anaheim may bring him back. Fills a spot/need for a rebuilding team.

I’m not clamoring for it, it just makes sense. 2 years at most

Sprong was really good for stretches in Detroit.. doesn't say much but during the long losing streaks he was one of the few playing hard every shift and driving the play. Black hole on defense but will score a team 20 goals and get benched for 20 games in his sleep.

He's one of the most "efficient" per minute scorers around but it should be pretty telling that he can score that well and still manages to struggle to get more than 4th line minutes everywhere he goes and every team he's been on is willing to let him walk by the time he approaches his 100th game or so, even though he's never been on a big contract.

He will find a landing spot though, for sure.

I would love to see him in Tampa. They just lost some fire power with Stamkos and Jeannot and Duclair.

Tampa likes to push the pace and that’s how Sprong likes to play. Maybe give him a shot with Cirelli and Hagel…those 2 will do most of the D work.

I liked Sprong's time with the Caps. He seemed to shoot first always and had speed. I haven't watched him much other than in Seattle after the Caps time. Sometimes it's great to have selfish players who will just shoot the puck than over passing.

A little surprised no team has made an offer for him yet.

18G 43P last season with DET
21G 46P in 66GP with SEA 22-23
He’ll find a spot. He’s very one dimensional. Exactly like Walman, he too was a healthy scratch down the stretch for Detroit, because you just can’t trust him.
