Yeah, don’t dive head first at other players’ feet.

?? TBL player toepicked and lost his balance.

That said, I still don't agree with this being a reckless play. He didn't have much optoin to try and jump over the defenseman, luckily the elbow pad semed to prevent any damage by his footknife.

Kadri also somewhat fortunate the TB player's skate didn't come up and hit him.

I slowed it down frame by frame and Kadri lands on the cuff of Moser’s glove, and that’s why he lost stability. Extremely dangerous situation.

Skin tears at 100psi and a 200lb man on a skate blade can generate up to 1600psi from plays just like that. It’s cool to watch but I hope this type of play never becomes mainstream, it’s just asking for someone to lose a hand

If the league was concerned about this type of play, it would be in the rule book. “A player cannot jump over a fallen player to make a play on the puck, if so such and such penalty/fine/automatic #suspicion will be imposed” it’s a legal play

I mean he’s trying to cut to the net in pursuit of the puck and a guy falls/dives right into his lane. Short of intentionally stomping on the defender, I don’t see it as a problem. It’s just a circumstance that presented itself. It’s not like Kadri decided five minutes before “hey, I think I want to try jumping over a guy in my next few shifts”.

What I did find slightly funny is the announcer calling out “spinorama” lol. He was just struggling to keep his balance and ended up coincidentally spinning around in the process. It’s not like he was faking out someone with that.

Anyways, great goal. Pure effort and determination.
