Is it just me or is he playing the best hockey of his career outside of the beginning of his All Star season in 11-12? I remember a lot of people (I was one of them) that thought his game wouldn't translate to an AV system. He had trouble early but I think he's been more consistent than Staal this season, though Staal still has a higher ceiling.

it's not just you. He's been looking extremely solid for the last 3 months. I can't recall his last major mistake, which is quite an accomplishment, considering he plays about 25 minutes a game. What really impresses me is how he and McD handle forecheckers.

G has played incredible since his extension, but he REALLY picked it up after the Olympic break. Doing everything for the team. His clutch save against the blowjackets was a thing of beauty.
