This team has no identity. They've turned into one of the most boring teams in the league to watch. I've been a fan for 25 years and other than the couple of seasons following the roster blow up, this is by far the worst team to watch. Jumping around to other games early this season and its painfully obvious how non-entertaining this team is.

No physicality, offensive systems are snuffed out easily by other teams. No forecheck. Matthew's has taken a few licks already this season, zero response from anyone on the team (there's noone who can do it anyway). Shit's just beyond frustrating to watch.

I can't believe this is what management has managed to turn generational talent into.

Yep same here. Perimeter hockey zzz get to the bloody net and show some passion.

Matthews is leading the team in hits most likely which is great but also sad.

Looked okay at the start for 5 minutes but yeah... can't argue. Plenty of game left though.

Dallas has a lot of great young talent. Not an easy game.

I think Leafs come out fired up in the second. After last game. No waiting until 10 minutes left... let's go.

I agree. We could win but it doesn’t change the fact that something ain’t right with this team and doesn’t give me confidence things will change in the playoffs, let alone win a cup.

Really hope Simmonds sees the ice on Saturday. Dude clearly wants to be a Leaf, the team loves him, and we're butter soft yet again. Even guys like ZAR and NAK are great cuz you need forechecking, but they aren't going to make a guy answer for something. I'll compromise with Clifford if I have to but this is exhibit "A" 13 periods into the season why those types of players are more valuable than people give them credit for
