The onus is on you to explain how it is. You're making the claim.

[EDIT]: I don't care. If that is fear mongering to you, that's something you can hold onto. To me, it isnt. Past that, it doesn't hold value to me to spend time on.
The idea that Guerin would trade Rossi for a 33 year old rental, because that’s the type of GM he supposedly is, is definitely fear mongering to rile people up.

I get the rest of your initial post dispelled it from your POV, but has Guerin done anything to suggest he would make such a move? The closest thing in terms of young quality player was Fiala for Faber+1st. I don’t get why it’s even a topic. And yes I realize someone else brought it up before you. This isn’t meant to dog on you specifically. Just the idea.

He can play any position and also PP and PK. Has a stupid release and shot. Responsible 200ft player. Been the isles most consistent goal scorer the last 5-6 years.

I didn’t realize how underrated he was
He used to surprise me a lot, until he didn't. He's underrated because lack of flash but man can the boy play some puck.

If Brock were a former Penguin we'd totally give up Rossi and a First for him. We might give up more than I'd think if it's worth it to them to try to mitigate a long term Ek injury. I know for a fact that Fletcher tried to get him but settled for Niederriter so MIN has been interested for a looooong time. Just can't hamstring our future when we don't know how much Rossi is going to cost or what kind of record we're going to set on Kaprizovs extension.

How am I undervaluing him if you agree with the value I think he'll return? Regardless of whether you want to call him a 70 point player or a 50 point player, seems we both think he'll get a 1st+, so are we both undervaluing him, or am I not undervaluing him at all and you just don't like stating that he's on pace for 50 points right now?
Do you see how bad of a team we have? Nelson and Parms are the only thing - oh and Sorokin from us being the worst team in the league. Of course his stats are a little down.

What does this have to do with this thread?
Nothing, but my first thought was Boeser when I clicked the thread considering:

A. The title was cut out after “Brock” on my phone.
B. Former rumours surrounding Boeser/Minnesota

How’s the moderator application going?

Nope. Wild fans are in a spiral when it comes to Guerin/Hynes and Rossi and it’s tiring.
tongue in cheek. Guerin seems to have undue interest in Penguin related players but no, I really don't think even he would go that low.

It is a little baffling why so little attention seemed to be paid Rossi by BG. I don't know what issues anyone is having between Hynes and Rossi ? They think he is being misused?

Who is the last penguins player he brought in?

i'm not going back to look but there was more than Fleury incl players once in their system but on other teams. natural that mine will dry up as time goes on and staff changes but he struck me as unusually nepotistic.

All were involved with the Pens organization during Guerin's time there.

Galchenyuk and Goligoski were also Penguins outside of his tenure.

If I was Winnipeg, Brock Nelson is the guy you gotta get.

Schiefele-Nelson-Lowry down the middle is just epic.

Jets could certainly use him. They still have some prospect strengths to trade.

The main problem is that Nelson has a NTC and it's always a challenge to get players to waive for Winnipeg.

He would look tremendous with the Wild. What an addition.
He's a good player. Hope he gets moved for his sake so he has a chance to make a playoff run. Isles are a clusterfreak and even if they get in, they're likely a first round spank AGAIN. He's been a loyal soldier and deserves better than what he has in his current situation

If Russo didn't put him in trade rumors for the last 365 days, it wouldn't come up nearly as much.

Since I'm the one that originally brought it up in this thread, I'll say that it was a little tongue-in-cheek, but not completely. I'm certainly not in a spiral about it.

Blues would have no interest in Neslon let alone dealing Snuggy for him

The Wild (at this point of the season) doesn't have the cap space to take on a $6M contract unless there is a vet going back to NYI in the deal. Because he's a 34 YO UFA, his trade value is not bupkis but its certainly not high in terms of asset return. The Wild can accumulate some cap space until TDL to perhaps make it work but its really would be the classic TDL vet trade.
