Schenn's asking price is a second alone at the moment.
Boeser's on the upswing, just having a monster game last night against the Islanders, and was on a 60ish point pace this year, in spite of everything. Being biased as all get out, I'd lean into the higher end of his value, especially if we're taking close to equal salary back. Taking some, or equal, cap hit back means you're paying closer and closer to full pull for him, as cap hit isn't something we're desperate for any more. Make an offer, I guess.
We don't want or need roster players, especially wingers or goalies (for the moment?), and while I think we should be open to cap dump, that term seems to upset people when the player attached still plays well. But if they are not needed, or worsen a log jam, and have a cap hit attached, that is how I view these players. Faksa being a center would be preferable, but still not a need. I'd say LD are also nothing we need, except as a cap dump, if there are any D that you're thinking of including.
