Dallas needs some 2nd line scoring and that crap listed is not interesting. I would say these two teams do not mix well for trades.

Yeah no thanks on that for Dallas. Saves some money where we don't need to save it and just downgrades the team and doesn't adress the issue with depth scoring.

Stars probably give the two best players up in the deal ( albeit they're not that good ) and get crap in return.

We're not desperate to get out of the 2 years remaining of Cogliano. He's a good third line player.
