Money is right. CDS maybe taking a lower salary for some stability. Good backup. When he's hot, he's hot. When he's cold, he's cold. Good deal for Dallas.

Was good for us in Vancouver, I think hes probably better than some of the guys that got 2+M. Hope he does well in Dallas

Good for him getting a 3-year term. He was good for us when Demko went down, wheels started to fall off as his workload increased, but he's the kind of goalie who can sit for a month and then put up a shutout in his next game. Great team guy.

He was solid in his short time here and seemed to be loved by his teammates. Great deal.

Good signing for player and team. Maybe Casey could have got a bit more elsewhere but he has term, security and will be the undisputed backup on a contender. Plus the lower salary probably offset some by no state income tax.

Best of luck to CDS! He has some similarity with the Texas power grid; if he gets overloaded, he doesn't perform well. But if you load manage and nothing unusual happens, like a strong hurricane or your starting goalie getting injured for half the season, he's good.
