Real cool story with this kid, went completely undrafted in the 2020 OHL draft and worked on himself and his play during the Covid year. Last season, he got an opprotunity to play junior B for Stratford, played well, made the most of the opportunity and Acadie Bathurst gave him a chance to play in the Q in early January and they never looked back. This season he is off to a good start and was recently given a ‘C’ Rating by CSS.
As for his play, he is a steady guy that possesses a real good shot from the point, good vision, paticularly on the breakout and his skating looks real good also. He is also standing at 6’0” so size shouldn’t hamper him moving forward and we should see him get drafted this season. We’ll see how he progresses.
