Tristan Bertucci at eliteprospects.com

Seventh overall selection in this years OHL Draft. Second defender off the board. Good size, and skating ability but there are concerns about his offensive upside. We’ll see how things progress for him going forward.

Enjoyed a solid season in the OHL - should get more offensive reps this season - however he projects more as a two-way guy in the NHL. Should be a mid-round pick.

After that 3 point game last night - thag gives Bertucci 20 points in his last 19 games.

He has been noticeably better since th OHL trade deadline.

I think he should be rising up most everyone’s lists as of late - Big 6’2 defenders that can skate, produce, and play defence are at quite a premium.

6'2, plus skater, smart decision maker, good defensively, plays physical and has 39 points in 48 games.

I know he's coming out of nowhere for a lot of scouts but that's easily a 1st round resume.

Could be this year's massive riser.

Thought maybe there'd be some overlap between him and Dellandrea, on the Firebirds roster, but Bertucci arrived a year or two after Ty was called up.

Not surprised to see Dallas go back to the well though, adding another OHL blueliner to their stacked cupboard.
