6’1” Finnish defender already has the size you want out of a defender in the modern NHL, and he isn’t yet done growing. He has great mobility, allowing him to be great in transition and in the defensive end in which he does a good job a keeping a consistent gap with attacking forwards. Soini also has a great first pass that he utilizes with great effect mulitple times a game. Look for him to have a big year this year where he may even see a few Liiga games.
 
I have really enjoyed watching Soini play in the U17’s and I definitely see a potential first round talent in the future.

Good size, quite poised with the puck, very quick decision making, great vision with the puck and he is an excellent skater.
 
Mostly agree with @GermanSpitfire. I think he’s an early round guy for 2024. Not sure if I see a first round range. I didn’t think he had that big of an impact, but not impossible and he did look like a good all around defenseman.
