Seems like we should just have a running thread for the dmen that get called up in between every game just in case something happens.
Is there a cap angle to this (or payment promise to those two players) because Chicago’s two airports certainly have flights everywhere plus frequency?

I think they are being super cautious since they are carrying zero extra healthy players this year. Sure, they might be able to get a guy to a game in time, but it'd be risky. And it has seemed at times that we have had a guy or two playing with a ding that could cause them to suddenly be unavailable for a game. They seem to just make sure everyone is feeling good on game day later in the day and then send the guy back down when they get the green light from everyone to keep accruing those sweet deadline dollars. If I'm not mistaken, the roster deadline for each day as far as pay is concerned is 5pm eastern, so I think they are getting their business done by those specific times based on when I keep seeing the reassigned notices, but I could be wrong on that. Probably doing the same thing based on the timing of the guys getting called up each time to some extent.
