Never drafted but is averaging 19 minutes of ice time in the KHL as a 22-year-old.

Is he one of the players from Russia that was not scouted as closely because of the Covid shutdown or is he getting an opportunity because Sibir does not have the resources of some of the other KHL clubs.

Or just not good enough to have a NHL team consider him. I don't know anything about the guy but if a player is good enough, NHL teams will find them

As a 2001 birthday, he would have been an undrafted free agent starting after the 2022 Draft. If Yefremov were to sign this spring, he'd have to sign a two year ELC.
