One of the top defenders coming out of Russia for the 2026 NHL Draft, Fedotov has impressed the past couple of seasons in Russia being the highest-scoring defender in multiple tournaments while also playing a good two-way game. He recently was the highest scoring defender at the champions cup with 11 in 7 games on route to a first lace finishing for SKA-Youth. He and his teammate Yaroslav Khodeyev were excellent for their squad and were big reasons why their team won. Fedotov with his puckmoving prowess and Khodeyev with his two-way play.

Overall he should be an interesting follow going forward!

My review of what I've watched from him this season. Has 0+0=0 points in 10 games.

Think he’s someone who could pop off and have a decent draft year. He’s probably like a puck moving defenseman. Maybe you could call him offensive. Good hands and ability to pass the puck and move it quickly. Sometimes he tries to do too much and makes risky plays with the puck in his own zone or the neutral zone, and that can get him in trouble. He has solid size and skates decently, but he makes too many errors at this point, and will need to work on that.
