Graziano has been the Jr. Canadiens most impressive defender through my eyes so far this year, he has seen rapid development in recent months and is so much more confident with the puck than he was earlier in the season. He even plays forward on occasion. Definitely more of An offensive defender.
Here was some notes I took a few months back:
Very good skater - excellent North to south acceleration and speed. Looked real good in transition. Was able to make a seamless retrieval, and transition the puck up the ice for a zone entry on multiple occasions. Deceptive player. Scored a goal that was taken away due to a delayed penalty, but he was able to walk up from the right point and placed the puck just between the goalies pad and glove for a goal. Was able to move the puck with ease and would usually make a great pass when facilitating the offence from the point. Didn‘t use his heavy shot as much as the last time I saw him. Impressive effort, kid to watch.
