Not been terribly impressed with this guy the few times I've seen him for all the hype he had. He's pretty average, doesn't stand out much in a good or bad way. I think he's a pick, but I'm not sure it's a high round one this year.

He's been traded to Youngstown Phantoms.

I think the trade has helped him as he's starting to play better. He's starting to be more aggressive offensively, and is showing the ability to make some high difficulty plays with the puck. Defensively, he's still pretty reliable. And he's using his skating to exit the zone more than he did with Muskegon, as well.

I'm not sure his ceiling is hugely different than what I previously thought, but maybe he's more of a mid-round guy than late round guy.

Never drafted. He is now a sophomore at Penn State.

Skated in 33 games for the Nittany Lions in 2022-23 (his older brother Tyler was an assistant captain for Penn State last year and is now playing at Arizona State as a graduate student).

Dylan Gratton's nine points (2 g, 7 a) is second most among Penn State defensemen (one point behind Dartmouth transfer Tanner Palocsik).

Too old for the draft, will be interesting to see if he receives any development camp invites.
