15 year old defender has already seen a couple of WHL games to start the season for Moose Jaw. One of the best defenders Of his age group out of the QMJHL, Schmidt is not afraid to use his body, He is always finishing his checks. Schmidt moves around the ice real well and uses his quick feet and physicality to cut off incoming attackers. If you remwmber Matt Dumba during his draft year, that’s who this kid reminds me of most. He is rather raw in most other area’s of his game but if he is able to find those missing elements. Watch out.
