[Puck Ingrate]

He's a smooth-skating, dynamic offensive defenseman with good hockey sense, strong mobility and excellent vision. Makes a strong first pass, is comfortable in transition and creates a lot of scoring opportunities, especially on the power play. Has definitely improved from last season.

That said, he's been the beneficiary of BCHL competition in that it's been easy for him and his team to gain the zone and generate chances rather unimpeded. The BCHL is a relatively high scoring and free-flowing league, so his skating and offensive smarts allow him to get away with plays that won't work as often against more organized and stronger opposition. He'll need to continue to develop his defensive and physical game, but there's no question that he's had a strong season.

I could see a team taking a flyer on him as a late round pick.
