Can anyone tell me more about this player? He had a good rookie year for Owen Sound and want to know how he projects going forward.

Cal is a really fun player, and one who has an opportunity to compete for offensive minutes on the Attack's blue line this season.

At this point, he might be on NHL radars, but he's physically immature still, and I think will have to show that he has some elite offensive traits.

Decent skater, good hands and offensive awareness, but needs to be sheltered defensively against better teams.

If there's a recent Attack comparison that he fits the mould of, it's definitely Sean Durzi, and to his credit he's far ahead of where Durzi was at the same age. He'd be looking at being that kind of guy at the NHL level.

If an NHL team likes his talent profile and thinks he has plenty of filling out to do, then might be a late round draft pick.
