Cutter Gauthier first Career goal

I’ve never seen a player have a tougher time getting his first. Should have multiple by this point. Good for him just kept working.
 
Been said but this could have happened a lot sooner. He had a rough first slate of games adapting his timing and decision making to his NHL play but he's been picking it up the last 5-7 games not just with the shot attempts but with his overall play. Better passes, strong rushes for a guy that wasn't particularly known for his skating, shot attempt generation. Once he simplified his game and stopped trying to impress the coaches with no look passes and forcing passes through traffic trying to find a seam, he's been a lot better.

He got awarded last night for his good play but Cronin should not have put him on a 4th line to being with. He didn’t even deserve to be there.

Was so snakebitten this season, some missed shots but also some hit posts as well. Should easily have 4 or 5 goals now plus his assists.

Under Cronin, very hard to produce since his system promotes dump and chase and it makes them struggle to posses the puck. Can’t score if you don’t have the puck.

Yeah I didn't watch last night but I'm not going to believe this is the team and Cronin turning it around as much as it was more likely that Detroit just had a bad night. I'd love it if Cronin actually figures it the f*** out but I'd rather see the team replace him.

Flyers got absolutely taken to the cleaners here. Not their fault obviously but Drysdale is bad and always injured

Yeah Detroit was not skating by the end of the game and the Ducks finally took advantage of an opponent doing that, but it was still the same Cronin garbage most of the game.

It’s way too early to tell. But I feel Cutter’s floor at this point is like a 2nd line 25-30 goal scorer. If he can finish the season around a .50 PPG on this team I’m content for his rookie season.
