He’s probably going to go on the western trip. Might have to give him a go in Vancouver.

At this point it doesn’t make sense to rush McBackup before the all-star break. Let him go see his family for an extra week.

Sounds like they aren’t bringing Staal back before the break either.

Has already played in 11 AHL games with a GAA under 2 and a save% above .930;
or
a goalie with two consecutive shutouts and whose save % is above .945 the last four games.
