That empty net goal Mika scored was not an easy one. He got hit hard as he got the shot off. I don't think anyone thought that was going in. I know I didn't.
This was one of their best all around games this year.

Miller was also matched up with the Ovechkin line a lot. When you play the shutdown defense role, it's going to take a hit on your xG numbers.

I’m off the ledge but besides the goal, the kid was pretty much invisible again. Hopefully he just needs some confidence and this gets him going.

Only complaint I have today is that Shesty didn’t get the shutout. He deserved it.
